Memorial Weekend!

We went to Vernal for Memorial weekend. We went camping up at Mount Warner. The first day and night it rained and snowed. They rest of the time was beautiful. We went fishing and horseback riding. Played games and roasted s'mores :) Nick riding Paint. Nick and dad went on a 2 hour ride in the mountains. Nick had so much fun. That was the first time he rode in the mountains for that long. It has been almost a month since we went and he is still talking about it. :)
We stopped by the cemetery before we went back to Provo. I stopped off on the way down the mountain and picked some wild flowers to take up to Conners grave. We were trying to get a pick of all the kids, but the sun was so bright. It was right above our heads.

Just Nick and I :)

Everyone waiting to take a turn riding Paint.

Dad and Shaylee.
Tayler playing hangman. The weather was so cold outside that we were trying to find ways to entertain the kids in the camper.

Grandma and the girls. Just getting ready to go roast marshmallows.

Abby helping us make dinner.

Me and mom had a white board drawing contest. The kids thought it was so fun judging that they wanted us to take pictures. Abby is holding moms and Tayler is holding mine. I won :) lol We had a good time coloring with the kids.

This is on the way up the mountain. Nick let Lanie drive on the dirt roads. She thought she was so cool.

Girls Softball

Abby playing center field. She never really got to much action, but she loved it. She played catch at 2 games, and decided that she didn't like that position. Then she played 3rd base, and fell in love with it. Not sure if she will play again next year, but we are hoping. She is a little nervous of the pitchers, they are just learning and they are not always right down the middle. She is so scared of getting hit.
Shaylee waiting for her turn to hit. She hit 2 home runs this year. Every time she would hit a home run we would pay her $5. She thought that was great!!

Abby in the batter box. She hit two times this year. Other then that she would strike out or get walked. She made it across home for the 1st time, in the middle of the season, she was so excited that she just kept running all the way to the dug out and through it to me to tell me, "I' finally made it home!!!" She was so excited! It was so cute.

Little miss Sha bug was so cute playing ball this year. She had such a good time. She liked to be last hitter so she would get to run all the bases. :) If anyone knows my sha bug, she is not a fast runner at all. It was fun to watch her this year!
