Abby's Photos

Abby has been in this mood where she has to take all kind of pictures. She does ok most of the time. This is some of her work. :) She is always wanting to take photos of Camryn. I'm thinking of getting her a camera for her birthday.

This is one of my favorite pics of Camryn. I am so proud of Abby!

A little to close, but it really shows her chunky cheeks!

Tayler's Baseball

Tayler playing baseball. The team did really well this year. They went to the championship game. They were winning till the bottom of the last inning. They ended up losing by one. They were so upset, but they played a good game. They took 2nd place. He played outfield most of the time. I think he played short a time or two. He hit really well also. He was fun to watch, cause he would be worried about the sun flowers in his mouth. He would have to be reminded to pay attention. Can't wait to watch him next year!

Tayler sliding into the home plate. He got out, but at least he slid.

4th of July

For the 4th of July this year we had my girls. We had a very fun weekend. Saturday we went to the balloon fest at 6:30 am. The wind was blowing just enough that they didn't blow the balloons up. So we all went back home and took a nap. :) Then we went to the center street booths. The girls got there faces painted and we looked at a bunch of stuff. They had a good time playing in the bouncers. Then that evening we went to Fox Field to watch the fire works. We took our little bar-b-quer and had hotdogs, beans, and rice crispy treats. Nick brought a football, and played with the kids. Tayler was on the other side of the park, so he came and hung out with us for a little while. Then the fire works started at 10:30 or so, we watched them and thought that they were over, so we headed home. Got all loaded up and the fire works started again. So the kids just watched them out the windows of the car. :) Camryn loved the bright lights. She was so good!

Hold that skateboard.

I was talking with Nick last night and remembered a story from last fall. I just have to tell whoever is reading.

We went up to Nates house one evening and hung out. Watched movies and visited. It was about 11-12 when we headed home. I was driving, and we were coming up on 4 guys in the late teens, early twenties. I was only going about 20-25 mph. All the guys had skateboards, skating down the street. Three of the guys stopped and picked up their boards, and moved to the side of the street. One dummy thought he would be cool and try and do a trick while I was passing. Well I am sure you know where this is going now. The kids didn't do so well on his trick, the board went flying out from under him. Yes, right toward our SUV. It happened so fast, that there was no time to break. I went right over the top of it. With both wheels. The 3 smart guys where laughing so hard, but not as hard as me and Nick. What a idiot he was for doing it. I felt so bad for running it over, but it was to funny not to laugh. I looked in my rear view mirror and the board was broke into two pieces, right in the middle. I still get the giggles when I think about it.

So any of you skaters out there, if you see me coming, it would be best to stop what you are doing and pick your board up. Don't be a idiot, like that last fool, and try and do a trick, cause I will get your board. I have no sympathy to tell you sorry, cause I will be laughing so hard you would not be able to understand me. :)

Bridal Vails Falls 2010

We decided to take the kids somewhere they could run and have fun. My girls had never been to Bridal Vail Falls. So one evening we went up Provo Canyon. Parked in the parking lot and started our walk. They were so excited to do a little hiking, what they didn't know is that you can walk on a paved trail almost all the way to the bottom of the fall. The kids played so good all the way up there. We let them play in the bottom of the fall for a bit. The water was cold, but it was a hot evening so they didn't mind. Lanie lost her sandal and it took us a while to find it. We went and walked around to the old lift building. We had a good evening. We are going to hike to the top of the falls next time, Camryn will have to stay with a sitter. The kids are really looking forward to it. Shaylee says that she is scared to go, but she will try her best. She is so funny!

Headed to the other side of the river.

Don't ask me why Abby is throughing a peace sign.... lol

Lanie's 4th Birthday

Lanie turned 4 on June 20th. She was with her dad for a week. So when we got her back we went to Salem Pond and celebrated her birthday. She was so excited. We roasted hot dogs and had a little bar-b-que. She got so many things from everyone. Her favorite was her sun glasses and fishing pole. :) The kids played on the play ground for a while and then ate dinner, then opened presents. We had a good time.

Lanie helped me make her cup-cakes. She wanted purple so bad...so we put food coloring in to see if we could change the color. Didn't work as well as we wanted it to. She was pleased though. She had a hard time not licking her fingers.

Girls + Makeup = Trouble

The girls said that they were going to watch TV in my room. So I thought ok, sure why not. I was cooking lunch. When I was finished I went to get them to let them know it was time to eat. They had got into all my makeup and put it on. They actually did a really good job and didn't make any messes. I couldn't get to mad. Then when I tranfered my pictures on to the computer this is what I found. ha ha They are to cute sometimes. :)
Lanie with lip gloss and eye shadow. She has a stractch under nose, so that is not makeup.
Abby and my toothless Shaybug.

Silly girls!!
