Camryn is turning the BIG 5

My baby is turning five and I can't believe how time has flown right on by. She is such a joy. Entertaining is the word I would use to describe her. She is hilarious, sweet and a fireball. She always has something to say. She was looking forward to kindergarten, until she heard that she has to get a shot. I swear she is going to grow up to become a chef. She is always wanting to make something. I have to explain to her that you can't just grab flour and mustard and eat it. Mustard is a main ingredient in her mind. She loves food and making up her own recipe. She is going to preschool and loving it. I can't believe how much she has learned and pick up on. Having mommy or daddy read to her is one of her favorite things. She has learned to ride her bike with no training wheels and not peddles cause they have somehow broke off. She wants to be a tooth doctor when she grows up. (Thanks to our wonderful babysitters mother in-law, thank you for inspiring her)

She has fallin in love with horse recently. I absolutely love this picture.

We finally got some snow, this was the first snow storm that we was able to go outside and play in. She was in heaven.

Grandma and Grandpa Young bought a boat and took us out on a trip. She was excited.

Good times at Red-Fleet. She was all up for being buried.

This picture completely sums Camcam up. She is a little fireball with sass.

She was so excited to meet Cinderella. So glad that we got to meet her favorite princess. She thought this was so amazing.

New..but old Family Pictures

Dragging my family up to Dry Fork Canyon to get family pictures is not always easy. With a family of 7, someone is always in a cranky mood. Most of the time it is me....or Camcam. Some how we had a miracle that day. It went good and I was able to get some amazing pics. What a blessing to me, I am so lucky to have such a wonderful family.

The trick here is getting all five kidos to look at me & smile. Sha is known for sticking her tongue out at the last minute. Tayler & Abby is known for giving fake smiles. Lanie is smiley most of the time. And Camryn, we are just lucky that her finger is not up her nose.

I look at this picture and I can't believe how big Shaylee has grown. She is shorter than Abby, but has bigger feet and hands. She will probably tower Abby. She still loves playing softball. She is back in piano and is loving it. It is funny that I have to tell her to stop reading and get ready for the day, or do chores, she is diffidently my book worm.

And then there is Camcam. She is a little fireball. Super photogenic, and always wanting in the pictures. Can't believe my baby will be 5 in a couple of weeks. Even though she is the baby, she is the boss in the family. What a joy she has brought all of us. Little stinker is what she is.

Miss Lanie...She is something else. I love that she has her own personality, very out spoken. She will call you out and tell you how it is. (Not always a good thing when she is pointing out how bad of a parent you are.) She will be in 3rd grade this fall. Growing up so fast and barley putting on any weight, still eats like a bird.
This picture can basically speak for itself. Tayler is growing at an alarming rate. He is almost bigger than Nick. This kid is super smart. Between him and Abby, they will eat us out of house and home. He finally got to play tackle football and feel in love. Wish that he was closer so we could make every game.

My little Miss Abby is not so little anymore. She is turning into a beautiful young lady. She is so in love with dance. Can't believe she will be 14 this summer. "A" stands for Abby.....NOT it stands for Attitude, and Abby has it big time. She can be very sweet though. She is like a second mom to her young sisters. She is a joy to have around. Just a fair warning, I will be keeping a shotgun on the front porch soon.

The love of my life....hmmm....what a stud. This fall will be our 6 year anniversary. What an amazing journey we are on together. Wouldn't want anyone else by my side for this adventure.

I HAD to put this pic in. Camcam decided to pull a fast one on me. She hurried and stuck her tongue in Nicks ear.

I can't thank my father in heaven enough for these beautiful angles. They keep me on my toes for sure, but I wouldn't have it any other way. So blessed to be the mother of 4 girls.
(even if our house is drama!)

Playing catch up....like always

I have been busy playing mommy. About 2 months ago I was laid off, not my idea of fun. Camryn enjoyed the first 2 weeks. Now every morning she asks who she will be with for the day. When I tell her me, she gets all disappointed and upset. Give me a gold star for boring mom of the month. I have started playing with the camera more, it feels good to get back to my passion.

We went on vacation last summer. We surprised the kids with a trip to the Pacific Ocean & Disneyland. We went for 5 days. Abby was able to spend her birthday on the beach. She feel in love, as did the other girls.
Lanie was really into collecting as many seashells as possible. She surprised me when she would go out where she could not touch and boogie board back to shore.

So happy that Shaylee will take a selfie with her mama. Sha loved the water and was trying to figure out the ocean. Me on the other hand, I am not a ocean lover. I am the mom that sun bathes and takes all the pictures for the blog. :)

Funny story...Camcam was all excited to get into the ocean. She was doing really well. It seemed that every tenth - eleventh wave was bigger and would come up the beach further then the rest. Camryn would sit up on the beach and let the waves come up her legs. She continued to do this. That big wave came up her legs, her belly and over her head, she was not happy. She ran to me in disbelief and was scared out of her mind. It took at least an hour for her to get back into the water. Before you knew it, she was playing with her dad, as he was trying to trick her into coming out further in to the water. (She was not buying it at all)

Abby said this was the best birthday ever...well of course. :) At the end of the day when it was time to go, I actually had to beg her to get out of the ocean. She loves to boogie board. She said, "Mom is there a college around her, I think this is where I will live when I get older."

I didn't dare take my big camera into the Disney park. But the kids had a blast at Disneyland, We are looking forward to going again. We may drag grandma and grandpa with us this year.
